Russ Gaglio joins the Velocity Motorsports Star Mazda Team - February 24, 2006

Prospect Hill, NC- Born in Bermuda, Russ Gaglio has recently begun his relocation from sunny California to the Tar Heel state to join the Velocity Motorsports team. Russ’s racing background dates back to 1993 when he was an instructor at the Skip Barber School. He has worked with some of the top young drivers in racing over the past thirteen years, including current Formula 1 driver Scott Speed, Rolex Sports Car Series driver Michael McDowell and current IRL driver Marco Andretti. Gaglio also has worked with many top teams including Worldspeed, S3/Lynx Racing, the Star-Mazda factory team and most recently MJ Motorsports. Russ will work with newly signed driver, Logan Gomez, as his lead mechanic for the 2006 Star-Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear.
